Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood actor and writer that has won critical acclaim for her talent. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960. She was born in North Carolina. She's one of the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She's English and Scottish. Moore was often in and out of her family due to the duties for her father. This made it difficult to keep or meet new acquaintances. Moore began acting in plays during her time at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. Thesis in Theater. Her career in theater began at New York with Off-Broadway Theater after graduating. In 1985 she appeared on stage as a character in The Edge of Night. In 1986 she was cast in the dual role of Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Spins. It was this role that gave her the opportunity to break through and resulted in her achievement. This show lasted until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she was the first film actress to make her debut on cinema in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later called a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her works. The latter was critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for several awards for it. Moore had her debut main character in Safe(1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to be the main character role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most popular movies released that year. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and received a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours starred Moore in 2002, and was nominated for nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also been seen in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) as well as a variety of other films. Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore has appeared on countless films and television shows. The most recent of her prominent roles was In 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. In her role as an Hollywood actor and writer for children, the actress is well-established. She released her first book Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. bestseller, which led to it being adapted to a series as well as a musical. In 2013, she released Her Mom is A Foreigner. Moore's personal life has been revealed as she is a popular author and actress. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. They have two children together with Bart Freundlich whom she later got married in 2003. Moore's focus is on her friends, family as well as her career.
